Policy on Accurate Contact Information
As part of our commitment to a safe and reliable marketplace, CoffeeRoo requires all members to provide accurate and complete contact information, including their full name, valid mailing address, and an active telephone number at the time of registration. The use of fax numbers or disconnected phone lines as contact information is not permitted.
All member activity on CoffeeRoo must comply with this policy, the CoffeeRoo User Agreement, and applicable laws, while respecting the rights of all parties involved. Non-compliance may result in actions such as the removal of content, account restrictions, warnings, or suspension—subject to the nature of the violation and in accordance with legal obligations.
To support accurate deliveries and smooth transactions, CoffeeRoo may verify and standardize address information. This may include minor corrections such as formatting postal addresses correctly (e.g., abbreviating “Queensland” to “QLD”), correcting typographical errors, or aligning suburb names with appropriate postal codes.
Acceptable Practices
- Providing a legitimate name, mailing address, and telephone number.
- Maintaining current contact information through the My Account section. [Learn more about updating your details.]
Unacceptable Practices

- Failing to provide a designated contact person when registering a business account.
- Listing a fax number as a phone number.
- Using a disconnected or invalid telephone number.
Purpose of the Policy
Accurate contact information is essential for effective communication between buyers and sellers. Failure to provide correct details can result in delays, miscommunication, unresolved transactions, negative feedback, or disputes—many of which could be avoided by ensuring that contact information is complete and accurate from the start.
