Your username on CoffeeRoo is your personal identifier—think of names like OZBuyer or Only_Seller. When signing up, pick something unique, memorable, and in line with our guidelines.
Basic Rules
Usernames must not:
- Include inappropriate or offensive words
- Contain email addresses, website URLs, or the term CoffeeRoo
- Feature phone numbers or consist solely of numbers
- Use someone else’s brand or trademark
- Match your email ID
Usernames must:
- Be between 6 and 64 characters in length
These standards help ensure clarity and safety for everyone on the platform. Violations may result in actions such as content removal, warnings, limited activity, or account suspension in accordance with our terms and legal obligations.
Formatting Rules
Permitted:
- Letters (A-Z, a-z), numbers (0-9)
- Certain symbols: *, -, ., _
- Identifying elements of a URL or email (e.g., “james_gardens” from www.jamesgardens.com)
Prohibited:
- Symbols beyond those listed above (e.g., %, #, &, etc.)
- Spaces or tabs
- Email or URL references like “.com”, “_org”, or similar variants
- Phone numbers
- Repeated underscores (__)
- Starting a username with _, -, or .
- The word CoffeeRoo (reserved for employees)
- Any offensive language or profanity
- Duplicate or confusingly similar usernames to other sellers or brands
- “E” followed by numbers (e.g., e123456)
Other Key Points
- You may only change your username once every 30 days to avoid confusion and fraud.
- Your username is a core part of your identity on CoffeeRoo—choose wisely and stick with it.
- Users with usernames resembling emails or URLs (especially after Nov. 2001) must update their usernames to meet current policy.
