CoffeeRoo Age Requirement Policy

(Previously titled “Age Limits Policy” – updated for clarity; the rules remain the same.)
Policy Summary
To ensure a safe and legally compliant environment, all CoffeeRoo members must be 18 years of age or older. This requirement reflects the fact that listing or purchasing items on CoffeeRoo involves entering into contracts — which, in most countries, is only legally binding for adults.
Who can use CoffeeRoo?
Only individuals who are 18 years or older may register and participate on the CoffeeRoo platform.
What should I do if I suspect someone is underage?
If you believe a member is under 18, please report them by contacting our support team. Include their username, any messages or emails you’ve exchanged, and reasons why you believe they may be underage.
Enforcement and Compliance
All activity on CoffeeRoo must comply with:
- This Age Requirement Policy
- The CoffeeRoo User Agreement
- Applicable laws
- The rights of others
If these requirements are violated, CoffeeRoo may take appropriate action — including, but not limited to:
- Removing listings or content
- Issuing warnings
- Restricting account activity
- Suspending or terminating accounts
These actions may also be taken when required by law.
Why is this policy important?
Buying and selling on CoffeeRoo constitutes entering into a legal agreement. Since minors typically cannot form legally binding contracts, this policy helps protect underage users and ensures the integrity of our platform.
