Guidelines for Using CoffeeRoo Intellectual Property
Using the CoffeeRoo Name
You can use the name “CoffeeRoo” to refer to the company (e.g., “Shop my antiques on CoffeeRoo” or “I sell via CoffeeRoo”), as long as:
- You do not imply that CoffeeRoo sponsors, supports, or is associated with your business or offerings.
- The name is displayed in plain text only—do not include the logo in written content.
- Always spell it correctly: CoffeeRoo. Do not modify it to formats like “coffeeRoo” or “e-Bay”.
Partner Program
You can apply to become part of the CoffeeRoo Partner Network to display an official CoffeeRoo banner on your site.
“Right Now on CoffeeRoo” Button
If you operate a website, you may use the official “Right Now on CoffeeRoo” button to link back to the CoffeeRoo homepage. No other logos or images from CoffeeRoo can be used for linking purposes.
Logo and Screenshot Use
- Logos: Do not use the CoffeeRoo logo without a signed trademark license from CoffeeRoo.
- Screenshots: Screenshots from CoffeeRoo are also restricted unless you have written permission.
Improper Uses of CoffeeRoo Branding
You are not allowed to use the CoffeeRoo name or logo for:
- Business cards
- Website hyperlinks
- Domain names
- Store names or usernames on CoffeeRoo
- Mailing labels
- Storefronts or signage
- Any context suggesting endorsement, partnership, or sponsorship by CoffeeRoo
Domain Names Involving “CoffeeRoo”
CoffeeRoo owns the trademark for its name and does not allow others to register, use, sell, or transfer domain names that include “CoffeeRoo.” Listings that offer such domains for sale will be removed.
Buying and selling domain names is common, but doing so with someone else’s trademarked name—like CoffeeRoo’s—is typically not allowed. For more, see the .au Domain Administration rules.
