To ensure a fair and trustworthy shopping experience on CoffeeRoo, any attempts to manipulate how listings appear in search or browsing results are prohibited. This includes using unrelated popular keywords or misleading tactics that could confuse buyers.
Key Policy Points
No Search Manipulation: You must not alter listings to gain unfair visibility in search results.
Accurate Keywords Only: All keywords and descriptions must accurately reflect the item being sold.
Correct Use of Compatibility Terms: If an item is compatible with another, use terms like “fits,” “for,” or “compatible with” before the name of that item. These terms must not precede brand names for items like jewelry, apparel, or universally compatible products.
No Product Comparisons: Listings should not compare your product to others.
No Cross-Promotion: Promoting other listings within a listing is not allowed.
Avoid Misleading Punctuation: Keywords should not include question marks. If certain product details are unknown, leave them out rather than speculate.
No Mixed Listings: Each listing must represent one type of product. You cannot mix:
Different brands or models (e.g., iPhone 6 and iPhone 7)
Items in different conditions (e.g., new and used)
Best Practices for Listing
To get the best placement in CoffeeRoo’s “Best Match” sorting:
Use multi-quantity fixed-price listings for identical items.
Use variation listings for items with options like size or color.
Use the parts compatibility tool for items that fit multiple vehicles (do not list compatible models in the title).
Clearly show major differences (e.g., price, condition) in the title, photos, and item details to help buyers distinguish between options.
Compliance
All activity on CoffeeRoo must comply with this policy, the CoffeeRoo User Agreement, applicable laws, and the rights of others. Violations may result in consequences such as content removal, warnings, restrictions, or account suspension, depending on the severity.
Purpose of the Policy
This policy is in place to ensure that buyers can find relevant and trustworthy listings quickly. Clean and accurate search results improve buyer confidence and lead to repeat purchases on the platform.
