Repeated Listings Policy
To promote a diverse shopping experience for buyers, we limit sellers to only one fixed price listing of the same item at any given time.
Policy Update
As of 6 June 2025, this policy has been clarified. While the core rules remain unchanged, we’ve updated the descriptions of activities that violate this policy for better understanding.
What’s Allowed and What’s Not
- Sellers are not permitted to list the same item more than once at a fixed price concurrently.
- This includes posting the same item in multiple categories or under different seller accounts.
- Slight modifications—like including a small bonus with an otherwise identical product—do not make listings significantly different.
Auction Listings
- Multiple auction-style listings for identical products are permitted under certain conditions:
- Each must have the same starting price and reserve price
- The title and description must be identical
- The “Buy It Now” feature cannot be used
- Only one auction listing without bids will be visible at a time; others will appear after the first listing gets a bid or ends.
Special Cases
- Identical fixed-price listings of generic items (e.g., AA batteries) are not allowed.
- You may list the same product on different CoffeeRoo sites as long as the international shipping settings don’t flood search results on one specific site.
- Up to five separate listings for the same multi-device item are allowed, if each clearly identifies a different brand or model compatibility.
- Use CoffeeRoo’s bulk listing feature to sell multiple units of the same item efficiently.
Tips for Better Search Visibility
- Combine identical items into a single fixed price listing using the bulk listing tool.
- For products with different variations (e.g., color, size), use a single listing with selectable variations.
- Use the parts compatibility tool for items designed for various vehicles—avoid listing compatible vehicles in the title.
Compliance Requirements
All user activity on CoffeeRoo must align with this policy, the CoffeeRoo User Agreement, relevant laws, and third-party rights. Non-compliance may lead to actions such as:
- Removal of listings
- Warnings or account limitations
- Suspension of your account
Why This Policy Exists
This policy helps ensure that all sellers have a fair opportunity to reach buyers and prevents any single seller from monopolizing the search results.
